The ruling on one who begins stoning the pillars in the reverse order out of ignorance

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
ً
A man stoned the pillars on the eleventh day and began with the small pillar, then the middle pillar, then the large pillar. What is the ruling? The Shaykh: If he started with the small pillar, then the middle pillar, then the large pillar, it is valid.

The questioner: No—Shaykh—he started with the Aqabah.

The Shaykh: The Aqabah is called the large pillar.

The questioner: Then the middle pillar, then the small pillar.

The Shaykh: Reversed.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh: Was he ignorant or knowledgeable? The questioner: Ignorant.

The Shaykh: If we were now in the time of stoning, we would tell him: go and stone the middle pillar, then the Aqabah, and the issue would be resolved. But now, since the time has passed and the days of stoning are over, and he was ignorant and did not know, I see that nothing is required of him, if Allah wills; because he was ignorant. However, he and others who intend to perform Hajj or 'Umrah must know the rulings before they begin the act of worship; so that they do not fall into error, and then try to correct that error.
