Permissibility of Delaying Prayer for the Traveler

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
If a traveler reaches the time for the midday prayer while traveling and has no water, and he delays the prayer until the time for the afternoon prayer and then finds water, is he permitted to pray in the time for the midday prayer using dry ablution?
It is better for one who hopes to find water to delay the prayer until the end of its time, if it is not combined with the prayer that follows it, such as the dawn, night, and afternoon prayers. If it is combined with the prayer that follows it, then delaying it until the time of the second prayer is better. If he performs dry ablution and prays, there is nothing wrong with that;Due to the generality of His saying, the Exalted:
O you who have believed, when you rise to [perform] prayer, wash your facesيَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلاةِ فَاغْسِلُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ
[Al-Ma'idah: 6] until He said:
and find no water, then seek clean earthفَإن لَمْ تَجِدُوا مَاءً فَتَيَمَّمُوا صَعِيداً طَيِّبا
[Al-Ma'idah: 6] .
