Allah the Exalted said: [al-Inshiqaq:2] (And it responded) means: it listened and obeyed the command of its Lord, Mighty and Majestic, to split; so it split, even though it was, as Allah the Exalted described it, seven firm, strong layers.As Allah the Exalted said: [Adh-Dhariyat: 47] meaning: with strength,And he said: [An-Naba: 12] so this strong, mighty sky will split on the Day of Resurrection and open up by the permission of Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, [Al-Inshiqaq: 2] meaning: and it is right for it to respond -Meaning: to listen and obey - because the One who commanded it is its Lord and its Creator, Mighty and Majestic, so it listens and obeys; just as it listened and obeyed at the beginning of its creation,Allah, Blessed and Exalted, said: [Fussilat: 11] .
So reflect, O weak human being, how these great creations listened and obeyed Allah, Mighty and Majestic, with this great obedience at the beginning of creation and at the end of creation,Then he said: [Al-Inshiqaq: 2] confirming its listening to its Lord and its obedience to Him.
Allah the Exalted said:
And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]
وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْAnd the heaven We constructed with strength
وَالسَّمَاءَ بَنَيْنَاهَا بِأَيْدٍAnd constructed above you seven strong [heavens]
وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعاً شِدَاداًAnd has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]
وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْThen He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, "Come [into being], willingly or by compulsion." They said, "We have come willingly."
ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَهِيَ دُخَانٌ فَقَالَ لَهَا وَلِلْأَرْضِ ائْتِيَا طَوْعاً أَوْ كَرْهاً قَالَتَا أَتَيْنَا طَائِعِينَSo reflect, O weak human being, how these great creations listened and obeyed Allah, Mighty and Majestic, with this great obedience at the beginning of creation and at the end of creation,Then he said:
