Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (Their reward is not to be diminished)
Then Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) said: [Al-Inshiqaq: 25] (Their reward) means: reward, (not to be diminished) means: not cut off, but rather it is continuous forever, and the verses regarding the permanence of Paradise are numerous and well-known in the Book and the Sunnah. It is not so difficult that we should recite them to you now, for they are clear, and praise be to Allah. So the reward of the Hereafter is never cut off. It is not like this world, where there is a time when trees bear fruit and a time when they do not, or a time when the earth grows and a time when it does not. No.
The reward therein is permanent [Maryam: 62].
So we ask Allah the Exalted to make us and you among the believers who do righteous deeds and avoid evil deeds. Indeed, He is Generous and Noble.
And may Allah send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
Then Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) said:
for them is a reward uninterrupted.
لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍThe reward therein is permanent
and they will have their provision therein, morning and afternoon.
وَلَهُمْ رِزْقُهُمْ فِيهَا بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيّاًSo we ask Allah the Exalted to make us and you among the believers who do righteous deeds and avoid evil deeds. Indeed, He is Generous and Noble.
And may Allah send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
