How to Get Rid of Whispers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A woman has been tested by Allah with obsessive doubts regarding ritual purity, and she feels a sense of impurity after performing the ablution. On one occasion, she felt someone commanding her to curse the Qur'an and curse Allah, and all she did was cry. How can she be treated and freed from this obsessive doubt?
Many people are afflicted with this obsessive doubt. If the question that comes to us by telephone is not repeated by a single questioner, how common is this among people! There is no power and no strength except with Allah. The cure for obsessive doubt is to frequently seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan, and especially to recite the two chapters of seeking refuge (al-Mu'awwidhatan), for no one has ever sought refuge with anything like them
(1) Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak (2) From the evil of that which He createdقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ * مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
[al-Falaq:1-2], and the first thing included in that is the evil of Shaytan, because he is among the creations of Allah,And in Surah al-Nas:
(1) Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, (2) The Sovereign of mankind. (3) The God of mankind, (4) From the evil of the retreating whisperer -قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ * مَلِكِ النَّاسِ * إِلَهِ النَّاسِ * مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ
[al-Nas:1-4] .
So the cure for that is to frequently seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan, to turn to Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He), and to have sincere determination, such that a person does not pay attention to the obsessive doubts that come to his heart.
For example, he performs the ablution once, or twice, or three times, and he does not pay attention to Shaytan's obsessive doubt, even if a person feels in himself that he did not perform the ablution, for example, or that he neglected one of the limbs, or that he did not make the intention, he does not pay attention to that thing.
Likewise, if he feels in his prayer, or it occurs to him, that he did not say the takbir for entering the state of consecration, he does not pay attention to that; he proceeds with his prayer and completes it. And likewise, if it occurs to his heart what was mentioned of cursing Allah (Mighty and Majestic) or cursing the mushaf or other such disbelief, he does not pay attention to it and it does not harm him, even if it is assumed that this thing passed over his tongue without his choice, then he owes nothing;Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (There is no divorce in compulsion) So if the divorce of the one afflicted with obsessive doubt does not take place; then this is even more deserving of pardon, but he turns away from this and does not worry about it.
So my advice to her and to others -among those who are afflicted with that- is to frequently seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan,And from reading the two great chapters:
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreakقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ
[al-Falaq:1] and
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
[al-Nas:1], and to have sincere determination and not pay attention to those diabolical obsessive doubts.
And if Shaytan puts doubt in his heart regarding Allah, or something similar; he should not worry about it; because he only suffers from this doubt because of faith in his heart, for the non-believer does not care whether he doubts or not; but the one who suffers from these doubts and obsessive doubts is a believer, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the Companions: (That is pure faith) meaning: that what Shaytan throws into your hearts of such matters is pure faith -Meaning: its essence- he made it part of pure faith even though doubt comes to the heart; because the one to whom doubt comes to his heart does not find peace in this doubt, does not pay attention to it, suffers from it, and does not want it, and Shaytan does not come except to hearts that are full until he destroys them, so he does not come to destroyed hearts; because they are destroyed,It was said to Ibn Abbas or Ibn Mas'ud: The Jews say that we do not have obsessive doubts in our prayer.

He said: [Yes.
And what does Shaytan do with a ruined heart?!] .
So my advice to her -and I hope that it reaches her or that she buys the tape for her to listen to it- is to turn away from all of this, and she will suffer at first when she does this, she will see that she prayed without purity, or prayed without the takbir for entering the state of consecration, or something similar; but she will be at ease after that, and the doubt and obsessive doubt will be removed from her by the permission of Allah.
And praise be to Allah, there are people who complained of this complaint, and they were informed of what they should use to resist it; so Allah cured them of it. We ask Allah for her well-being.
