In both of them are two springs, flowing.فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِ
[Ar-Rahman: 50] In them—Meaning: in the two gardens—there are two flowing springs. Allah the Exalted has mentioned that in Paradise there are rivers of four types,So the Exalted and Majestic said:
Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honeyمَثَلُ الْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ فِيهَا أَنْهَارٌ مِنْ مَاءٍ غَيْرِ آسِنٍ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ لَبَنٍ لَمْ يَتَغَيَّرْ طَعْمُهُ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ خَمْرٍ لَذَّةٍ لِلشَّارِبِينَ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ عَسَلٍ مُصَفّىً
[Muhammad: 15] and the two flowing springs appear—may Allah know best—to be other than these four rivers.
