The ruling on cursing a specific disbeliever, whether alive or dead

The ruling on cursing a specific disbeliever, whether alive or dead
What is the ruling on cursing a specific disbeliever? The Shaykh: Whether alive or dead? The questioner: The one who is alive.

The Shaykh: That is not permissible; it is not permissible to curse a specific disbeliever if he is alive, because Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) forbade the best of the believers from invoking a curse upon the most stubborn of the disbelievers in his time. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) used to invoke a curse upon specific people from the rebellious disbelievers of Quraysh, so Allah (Mighty and Majestic) forbade him,And he said to him:
Not for you, [O Muhammad, but for Allah], is the decision whether He should [cut them down] or forgive them or punish themلَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ
[Al-Imran: 128], but after his death, is he to be cursed? This may be said: He is not to be cursed after death, due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): (Do not revile the dead, for they have passed on to what they sent before them).
But if he has a specific ideology, such as a communist who calls for communism, or a Christian who calls for Christianity, then here we clarify his misguidance and warn against him, but cursing him is of no benefit, because he is a disbeliever who died upon disbelief, already cursed, and he does not need that.
