Is it permissible to curse a specific disbeliever?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling if I see pictures of one of the Jews published in the newspaper, and I say, "May the curse of Allah be upon him"?

Answer:
There is a point of consideration regarding cursing a specific individual. Say, "May the curse of Allah be upon the Jews and the Christians," and that is sufficient. As for cursing a specific individual, some scholars do not permit it; because he may become a Muslim, or Allah may guide him. So you say, "May Allah curse the Jews and the Christians," and that is sufficient. "May Allah curse the sinners," "May Allah curse the thieves," "May Allah curse the criminals"—that is sufficient.

Question: And if he is dead?

Answer: "May the curse of Allah be upon the Jews and the Christians" is a general statement, but specifying a dead person does not mean specifying a particular dead person. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Do not verbally abuse the dead, for they have reached the consequences of what they did.لا تسبوا الأموات؛ فإنهم قد أفضوا إلى ما قدموا
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1936Sahih (Darussalam)
However, one may revile them in general: "May the curse of Allah be upon the Jews and the Christians," "May the curse of Allah be upon the disbelievers," "May the curse of Allah be upon the wrongdoers."
