Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (When we have died and become dust)

Allah the Exalted said:
When we have died and become dust, that is a far returnأَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَاباً ذَلِكَ رَجْعٌ بَعِيدٌ
When Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), came to them, he informed them that people would be resurrected, and that they would be recompensed and held to account. They were astonished! How is this possible? Can a person live again after he has become bones?
When we die and become dustأَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَاباً
[Al-Waqi'ah 56:47]
(When) It is well known that it is a temporal particle, and every temporal particle requires a governing verb. The governing verb here is omitted, indicated by what follows it,and the implied meaning is: When we have died and become dust, will we be returned and resurrected? Then he said:
When we die and become dustأَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَاباً
[Al-Waqi'ah 56:47]
Therefore, it is appropriate when reciting to pause at His saying:
When we die and become dustأَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَاباً
[Al-Waqi'ah 56:47]
because His saying:
That is a far returnذَلِكَ رَجْعٌ بَعِيدٌ
is a new sentence, having no grammatical connection to what precedes it.
(When) The question here carries the meaning of denial and disbelief,As if they are saying: It is not possible that we will be returned and resurrected after we have become dust and bones! But Allah (Mighty and Majestic) made it clear that He is capable of that,So when they said:
That is a far returnذَلِكَ رَجْعٌ بَعِيدٌ
And their meaning by "far" here is impossibility; they consider it impossible,And perhaps some of them would soften their tone and say:
That is a far returnذَلِكَ رَجْعٌ بَعِيدٌ
So sometimes they deny it absolutely, saying: This is impossible! And sometimes they say: This is far-fetched.
