Thus, there is no contradiction between the verse and the hadith. The reason is that the one who establishes a bad custom has performed the act that carries the sin, and the cause is people following his example.
And among the benefits of the noble verse is the indication that sin is borne only by the one who is capable of bearing it, as He said:[Al-An'am 6:164] Sunan al-Bayhaqi 18:992 Many scholars have graded it as authentic. Now, if someone asks: Is the father, who is the guardian of his children, not sinful if he neglects something regarding them? The answer is: Yes, but his neglect of them is a burden and a sin, as Allah the Exalted said: [At-Tahrim 66:6] And because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sahih al-Bukhari 2751.
Then He said, Mighty and Majestic: to the end of it. Among the benefits of this phrase is that the return is to Allah on the Day of Resurrection. Branching from this benefit is the obligation to prepare for this meeting and this return. Preparation for it is achieved by abandoning sins and performing acts of obedience. This is the preparation. As long as the return is to Allah, it is not possible for you to return to anyone else, no matter who it is. Your return is to Allah, Mighty and Majestic. He is the beginning and the end.
And among its benefits is the clarification of the comprehensiveness of Allah’s knowledge, as He said:[Al-Ma'idah 5:105] about what you used to do, all of it, whether small or large. The address is to all people, and this indicates the comprehensiveness of the knowledge of Allah, Mighty and Majestic. And it is so; the knowledge of Allah the Exalted is vast and encompassing of everything. And Allah, Glorified and Exalted, drew attention to how vast it is by saying: [Al-Mulk 67:14] meaning, if Allah is the Creator—and this is an accepted fact—then it necessarily follows that He is Knowing of what He created. How is it possible to create what one does not know? This is impossible. Is it clear? Now, [Al-Mulk 67:14] we take from it an interjected phrase: Is this the doer or the object?
The student: The doer
The Shaykh : Both interpretations are permissible in it. It can be the doer, meaning: Does not the One who created know whom He created? And it can be the object, meaning: Does not Allah know whom He created? And it is known that there is a necessary connection between the Creator and the created; there is no Creator without creation, and no created thing without a Creator.
And among the benefits of this noble verse is that Allah, Glorified and Exalted, is Knowing of the secrets of the servant, as He said:[Al-Anfal 8:43] And Allah the Exalted said: [Qaf 50:16] Rather, He knows what is to come for a person. A person knows what his soul whispers, but he does not know what he will earn tomorrow. So Allah, Mighty and Majestic, knows what the servant will earn tomorrow.
And among the benefits of the verse is the indication that the reckoning on the Day of Resurrection will be based on what is in the breasts, because when He mentioned the informing, He said:[Al-Anfal 8:43] meaning, so the reference for the reckoning is what is in the heart. So correct your heart, correct what is in your heart, because the criterion is based on it. For this reason, there are corroborating verses from the Qur'an which we mentioned during the exegesis.
And among its benefits is the indication that the heart is the criterion for righteousness, because if the reckoning is based on what is in the heart, then righteousness is based on it. This is supported by the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sahih al-Bukhari 52
And among the benefits of the noble verse is the indication that sin is borne only by the one who is capable of bearing it, as He said:
the burden of another

ثم إلى ربكم مرجعكمAnd among its benefits is the clarification of the comprehensiveness of Allah’s knowledge, as He said:

And among the benefits of this noble verse is that Allah, Glorified and Exalted, is Knowing of the secrets of the servant, as He said:
