The ruling on one who performs the farewell tawaf before the stoning on the last day
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Issue: If one performs the farewell tawaf before the stoning on the last day,Meaning: on the twelfth day, intending to hasten his departure, he descends in the morning, performs the farewell tawaf, then leaves, performs the stoning, and travels. Is this permissible?
It is not permissible;Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (No one should depart until his last act with the House is the tawaf) and this person performed the tawaf before completing his rites, and it is authentically reported from 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said regarding the farewell tawaf: [It is your last rite] and this indicates that there is nothing after it, and that is the case, so if, hypothetically, a person performs the farewell tawaf and then leaves, performs the stoning, and travels, we tell him: Your farewell tawaf is not valid and it is not correct, and he will be rewarded and given reward for it, but it does not suffice as the farewell tawaf, and according to the majority of jurists, he must sacrifice a sacrificial animal in Makkah and distribute it to the poor; because he left an obligatory duty of Hajj.
