Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
To proceed: This is the twenty-fifth meeting after the two hundred meetings known as (The Open Door Meeting), which take place every Thursday, and this Thursday is the twenty-eighth of Shawwal in the year (1420 AH).
We begin this meeting with what we concluded at the saying of Allah the Exalted: [Al-Hadid: 26] However, due to the proximity of the Hajj season, we are speaking about Hajj, because everything is more important and more beneficial in its proper time,And the speech about Hajj is in matters: First: What is the rank of Hajj in the religion of Allah, Mighty and Majestic?And the answer to this is that we say: Its rank is that it is one of the five pillars of Islam,As the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his family said: (Islam is built upon five: testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establishing the prayer, giving zakah, fasting Ramadan, and performing Hajj to the House of Allah the Sacred).
and it is an obligatory duty by the consensus of the Muslims,And its obligation is known from the religion by necessity, meaning: that every person knows that Hajj is obligatory upon him if he lives among Muslims,For this reason, the scholars said: whoever denies its obligation is a disbeliever, if he has lived among Muslims; because this is known by necessity, every person knows it, even a child in the market knows that Hajj is obligatory.
