Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (And the people of Tubba', every one of them denied the messengers)

Allah the Exalted said: [Q:14] Also among those who lied to the messengers are the people of Tubba', who was a king of the kings of Yemen. Allah sent a messenger to them, but they lied to him and did not submit to him.

So He the Mighty and Majestic says: [Q:14] That is, these nations about whom Allah mentioned the signs, or rather, to whose stories Allah the Exalted pointed, all of them lied to the messengers, so Allah's promise of His punishment and retribution became due upon them.
We ask Allah for guidance and well-being for us and for you, for He is Able to do all things.
