Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (Indeed, We sent upon them a violent wind on a day of continuous misfortune)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (Indeed, We sent upon them a violent wind on a day of continuous misfortune)
Allah destroyed 'Aad, who boasted of their strength, with this wind,As Allah the Exalted said here:
Indeed, We sent upon them a screaming wind on a day of continuous misfortune,إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحاً صَرْصَراً فِي يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُسْتَمِرٍّ
[Surah al-Qamar: 19] The sentence here is emphasized by "Inna" (Indeed), and "We sent" means: Allah the Exalted Himself, and the plural pronoun is used for the sake of magnification.

His statement:
upon themعَلَيْهِمْ
meaning: upon 'Aad
a violent windريحاً صرصراً
meaning: having a roaring sound due to its strength and intensity, to the extent that its mere passage is heard roaring even if it does not collide with what would cause a roar; because it is very strong and great, and it is the western wind that came from the west,Meaning: from the west toward 'Aad,So they said:
This is a cloud that will rain on usهَذَا عَارِضٌ مُمْطِرُنَا
[Surah al-Ahqaf: 24] And they had been afflicted with drought for years before that, so when it approached with its darkness, its magnitude, and its roaring,They said:
This is a cloud that will rain on usهَذَا عَارِضٌ مُمْطِرُنَا
[Surah al-Ahqaf: 24] But the matter was the opposite; it was a wind containing painful punishment, it was a barren wind with no rain in it and no hope that rain would come from it.

Here Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says:
Indeed, We sent upon them a screaming windإِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحاً صَرْصَراً
[Surah al-Qamar: 19] So it is the western wind that comes from the direction of the west.

His statement:
a violent windصَرْصَراً
meaning: having a loud sound and roaring due to its strength and speed.

His statement:
on a day of continuous misfortune,فِي يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُسْتَمِرٍّ
[Surah al-Qamar: 19] meaning: on a day of misfortune (continuous) for 'Aad, and not at all times, so the day in which they were destroyed was not itself a day of continuous misfortune, but for these people it was a day of continuous misfortune,As Allah the Exalted said regarding the people of Noah:
they were drowned and put into the Fireأُغْرِقُوا فَأُدْخِلُوا نَاراً
[Surah Nuh: 25] , these people were destroyed by the wind and then entered the Fire, so the misfortune -Meaning: the misfortune - was continuous with them, the punishment of the Hereafter is connected to the punishment of this world.
