Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (Has there come to you the news of the honored guests of Ibrahim)]

Allah the Exalted said:
Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham? -
[Surat al-Dhariyat: 24] .
Has the address reached you? It is not for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) alone, but for him and for everyone to whom address is possible and to whom it is valid to direct the address,As if he said: (Has there come to you), O addressed one, (the news of the honored guests of Ibrahim)? The interrogation here is for the purpose of arousing interest, just as it is sometimes for the purpose of warning, so it is for arousing interest,So His saying here:
Has there come to youهَلْ أَتَاكَ
[Surat al-Dhariyat: 24] as if it is arousing your interest to hear this news,And its counterpart in arousing interest is the saying of Allah the Exalted:
O you who have believed, shall I guide you to a transaction that will save you from a painful punishment?
[Surat al-Saff: 10] The intention behind such an interrogation is not that he is asking: Does it inform us? Because he does not intend to ask for himself, but he intended to arouse the interest of the addressed ones in that.
And the interrogation is for the purpose of threat and warning,And the warning is in the like of the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Has there come to you the news of the Overwhelming?
[Surat al-Ghashiyah: 1] Then he said:
(2) [Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled, (3) Working [hard] and exhausted.
[Surat al-Ghashiyah: 2-3] .

If someone were to say: What indicates to us that the interrogation is for arousing interest, or for threat, or for seeking information, or something similar to that?We say: What indicates to us this is the context and the circumstances of the situation, and the intelligent person understands this and that.
Has there come to you the news
meaning: news
of the guest of Ibrahimضَيْفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
And "guest" here is singular, but it encompasses the group and the individual, and they are a group of noble angels, upon them be prayers and peace, (the guest of Ibrahim) meaning: those who descended as guests at his place, and (Ibrahim) is al-Khalil (the Intimate Friend), upon him be prayers and peace, and he is the father of the Arabs and the father of the Children of Israel,As Allah the Exalted said:
the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you "Muslims" beforeمِلَّةَ أَبِيكُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ هُوَ سَمَّاكُمُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مِنْ قَبْلُ
[Surat al-Hajj: 78] and he is the one whom Allah the Exalted commanded us to follow his way,Allah the Exalted said:
Then We revealed to you, [O Muhammad], to follow the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth; and he was not of those who associate with Allah.
[Surat al-Nahl: 123] .
And for this reason, the Jews claimed that Ibrahim was a Jew, and the Christians claimed that he was a Christian, but Allah the Exalted refuted them in that,So he said:
Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, a Muslim [submitting to Allah]. And he was not of the polytheists.
[Surat Ali 'Imran: 67] .
