Saying "O Guest of the Merciful"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa number ( 14110 )
Q 4: Some people say when welcoming a guest: "O Guest of the Merciful, O Old Man of the Merciful, may Allah keep you alive."
A 4: Welcoming a guest or others by saying "O Guest of the Merciful" or "O
Old Man of the Merciful," or supplicating for them "may Allah keep you alive" — there is nothing wrong with that; because this attribution is an attribution of honor, like the House of Allah and the Camel of Allah, and the like. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
