Standing in the month of Ramadan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
As for what concerns the standing prayer: Standing in Ramadan is a recommended practice that is prescribed. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said regarding it: “Whoever stands in prayer in Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.” It should be performed in congregation in the mosques; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed with his Companions for three or four nights, then he delayed and said: “I feared that it would become obligatory upon you.” It is performed with eleven rak'ahs or thirteen rak'ahs; this is the best, because this is what the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), the Mother of the Believers, was asked how the prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in Ramadan was?She said: [He did not exceed eleven rak'ahs in Ramadan or otherwise. He would pray four, so do not ask about their beauty and length, then he would pray four, so do not ask about their beauty and length, then he would pray three.] So the total is eleven rak'ahs.

But her saying: (He would pray four) Does this mean he combined them in one taslim?
No.
Because it is established in her own hadith that he would pray two rak'ahs, then two rak'ahs, then two rak'ahs, then two rak'ahs, then two rak'ahs, then two rak'ahs, then he would conclude with one rak'ah,And on this basis, her saying "he would pray four" means: He would combine them and then rest. This is why the word "then" (thumma) was used, which indicates a delay, contrary to what some people imagine, that he would pray four all together, and four all together, and three all together. This is an error in understanding, caused by some people looking at the texts with a one-eyed view from one side only, not combining the texts, not combining the ends of the texts, not applying this to that. So they thought that the four were paired, and this is a mistake.
The important thing in this standing prayer is that a person should strive for it and pray with the imam until the imam concludes;Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever stands with the imam until he concludes, it is recorded for him as standing the night.” This is a favor from Allah (Mighty and Majestic). You remain with the imam until he concludes, and it is recorded for you as standing the entire night, even in the winter nights, and even if you are on your bed, meaning the Companions,They said: [If you had granted us the rest of our night] Meaning: If you had stayed with us for the rest of the night,He said: “Whoever stands with the imam until he concludes, it is recorded for him as standing the night.” And this indicates that the best thing for a person is to make it easy on himself. You remain with the imam until he concludes, and it is recorded for you as standing the entire night. There is no need to burden yourself with standing after this.
