The Shaykh : He says: "And We believe in Paradise and the Fire. Paradise is the abode of bliss that Allah the Exalted has prepared for the believers who are mindful of Him".
We believe in Paradise, which is the abode that Allah has prepared for the believers who are mindful of Him. "Allah has prepared it" means it currently exists. Allah the Exalted said:
prepared for the righteous أعدت للمتقين
"prepared" means it has been arranged now. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered it and saw a palace in it for 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), heard the sound of Bilal's sandals in it (may Allah be pleased with him), and saw of the bliss what he saw. So it exists now.
"Allah has prepared it for the believers who are mindful of Him". "For the believers" refers to what concerns the hearts, and "who are mindful of Him" refers to what concerns the limbs.
"In it is a bliss
as no eye has ever seen, nor an ear has ever heard nor a human heart can ever think of.
Sahih al-Bukhari 7498
"
. Nothing seen in this world is like the bliss of the Hereafter, nor has anything been heard like it in terms of the beauty of voices and good speech.
their greeting therein will be, "Peace."
[Yunus 10:10]
(25) They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - (26) Only a saying: "Peace, peace."
[Al-Waqi'ah 56:25-26]
No one has heard of such bliss, and it has not occurred to the heart of any human being. Allahu Akbar! It is impossible for such bliss to ever occur to your heart. All the bliss we see in this world is a part that cannot be compared to it, except if you compare a speck of dust to the sun. It cannot be compared in proportion to the bliss of the Hereafter. It is impossible for it to be compared to it, due to the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And no soul knows
[As-Sajdah 32:17]
"Nafs" is an indefinite noun in the context of negation, meaning no soul knows.
what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes
[As-Sajdah 32:17]
May Allah make our eyes and your eyes pleased with that. It is absolutely impossible for any soul to know what We have hidden for them of joy for the eyes.
And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do.
[As-Sajdah 32:17]
A great reward for a small deed.
And in the Qudsi Hadith:
I have prepared for My righteous slaves (such excellent things) as no eye has ever seen, nor an ear has ever heard nor a human heart can ever think of.
Sahih al-Bukhari 7498
.
This is Paradise. It is not permissible for us to say that Paradise is a garden with many trees, whose ground is covered with crops and whose air is filled with the branches of trees. This is not permissible for us to say, because if you said it, the bliss would be diminished. "This is it, this is Paradise! Look at so-and-so's garden, what Allah willed, it has everything." This is a mistake, even if it is assumed that "Jannah" in the Arabic language means this. But the Paradise of the Hereafter is not like that; it is greater and much greater.
