Ruling on burning weeds and other vegetation for the sake of benefit

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
In some farms that have sprinklers, when the farmer finishes planting, he burns it. Is this permissible? The Shaykh: Why?The questioner: Some farmers have a pivot and a sprinkler, so when he finishes planting, he burns it, and it is a large area of crops containing livestock.

The Shaykh: Why did he burn it?The questioner: He burns it to get rid of some trees, weeds, and growths.

The Shaykh: There is nothing wrong with this.Meaning: Some farmers, when the season ends, burn the land along with the trees and growths on it,He says: in order to eliminate harmful weeds, and there is nothing wrong with this. It is established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) burned the palm trees of Banu Nadir, even though the palm trees are not free from bird nests or other things. Did this man burn them to kill the insects inside?
No.
He burned them to get rid of the weeds and growths that harm him, and that is what he intended, so there is nothing wrong with it. And you must know the difference between the intended target and the incidental consequence. For example, in fighting: It is not permissible to kill the young, nor women, nor the elderly, but if we are forced to bombard this village with cannons, it will kill the women, children, and elderly, but this will be incidental.
