Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (But today no ransom will be taken from you)
Allah the Exalted said: [al-Hadid:15] May Allah be our helper. A prisoner in this world can ransom himself and spend money to be released, but in the Hereafter there is no ransom. [al-Hadid:15] O you hypocrites.
[al-Hadid:15] Those who declared disbelief and became bolder than these hypocrites, so there is no ransom for these nor for those.
[al-Hadid:15] That is: your abode and your destination is the Fire. The one you take as a protector and the one that takes you as its protector, for they take the Fire as their protector by doing the deeds of its people, and the Fire takes them as its protector because they are deserving of it. [al-Hadid:15] That is: the return, and this is a condemnation of it. May Allah protect us and you from it, and we ask Allah to make us and you among those who are kept far from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, and among the successful, the righteous, and the prosperous.
