Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (No disaster strikes on earth)
Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said: [Al-Hadid: 22] Meaning: All the disasters that befall a person on earth or in his own self have been written down beforehand. A disaster on earth is like drought, scant rainfall, the sinking of water sources and the difficulty of reaching them,And it may also be said: trials and wars, and the like. [Al-Hadid 57:22] Meaning: in the person’s own self, such as illness, the loss of a loved one, the loss of wealth, or the like, even to the extent of a thorn pricking him.
[Al-An'am 6:59] And this Book is the Preserved Tablet in which Allah wrote the decrees of everything. (When Allah the Exalted created the Pen, He said to it: Write.
He said: My Lord! And what shall I write? He said: Write what is to be until the Day of Resurrection, so it wrote what is to be until the Day of Resurrection.) Glory be to Allah! How great is this Tablet that contains everything until the Day of Resurrection, but this is not strange for the power of Allah Mighty and Majestic, for the command of Allah [Ya-Sin: 82] And indeed, people used to be amazed before and did not consider it impossible that the decrees of everything would be written in this Tablet, and now it has appeared from the work of man a small piece on which thousands of words are recorded, is that not so? Yes, and it is called a laser, which is a small plate like a disc on which thousands of words are recorded; it may record all the compiled books of hadith, or all the exegeses, or all the books of the jurists, and this is the work of man,So how about the work of the One who says to a thing: “Be, and it is,”When he said: “Write what is to be until the Day of Resurrection,” so are the disasters that befall people in a prior decree? Or are they newly initiated?
The former,And for this he said: [Al-Hadid: 22] .
His saying, the Exalted: [Al-Hadid: 22] (The pronoun) in His saying: (We create it) It was said: It refers to the disaster,And it was said: on the earth,And it was said: to the souls,And it was said: to all of them, and the correct view is that it refers to all of them,Meaning: before We create all these things,Meaning: meaning that We create them, and that is because Allah wrote the decrees of everything before He created the heavens and the earth by fifty thousand years, and fifty thousand years is a long period, and this is written.
So[Al-Hadid 57:22] what does the pronoun refer to? That We create the earth? That We create the disaster? That We create the souls? That We create all of them? All of them.
And (We create it) means: We create it, in how much time? Before Allah created the heavens and the earth by fifty thousand years.
[Al-Hadid: 22] Meaning: The writing of these disasters is easy for Allah Mighty and Majestic. How is it easy?Because He said to the Pen: “Write,” so it wrote, and is this easy or difficult? Easy, one word brought about everything. [Al-Hadid: 22] Everything is easy for Allah, because the command is one word (“Be, and it is”) Have you seen the creation on the Day of Resurrection being resurrected with one word,Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said: [Ya-Sin: 53] And Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Naziat: 13-14] Meaning: on the face of the earth they came out of the graves, this is easy, by Allah.
And when Zakariyya said to Allah the Exalted when He gave him the glad tidings of a child: [Maryam: 8] Allah the Exalted said: [Maryam: 9] So I created you before you were, so by My power it is possible for you to have a child after a long period.
And Allah the Exalted is not hindered by anything, nothing is too difficult for Him, and nothing is delayed from His cosmic command. [Al-Hadid: 22] .
Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said:
No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into being - indeed that, for Allah, is easy -
وَلا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْin a clear record.
He said: My Lord! And what shall I write? He said: Write what is to be until the Day of Resurrection, so it wrote what is to be until the Day of Resurrection.) Glory be to Allah! How great is this Tablet that contains everything until the Day of Resurrection, but this is not strange for the power of Allah Mighty and Majestic, for the command of Allah
when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is.
The former,And for this he said:
in a clear record.
His saying, the Exalted:
before We bring it into being
before We bring it into being
And (We create it) means: We create it, in how much time? Before Allah created the heavens and the earth by fifty thousand years.
indeed, that is easy for Allah
إِنَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌindeed, that is easy for Allah
It will not be but one blast, and at once they are all brought present before Us.
(13) Indeed, it will be but one shout, (14) And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface.
And when Zakariyya said to Allah the Exalted when He gave him the glad tidings of a child:
He said, "My Lord, how will I have a boy when my wife has been barren and I have reached extreme old age?"
[An angel] said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, for I created you before, while you were nothing.' "
And Allah the Exalted is not hindered by anything, nothing is too difficult for Him, and nothing is delayed from His cosmic command.
