If the parents refuse to let their daughter visit her sister in Allah, is it permissible for her to visit her secretly without their knowledge?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If the family refuses to let their daughter visit a sister she has in Allah, and she misses her, and they always refuse this visit, does Islam allow her to go out to visit her without informing them? Or should she tell them something that is not true?

The Shaykh : It is not permissible for her to visit her without the permission of her parents, just as it is not permissible for her to lie to them. Rather, she must convince the parents that this visit is what the wise Lawgiver commands. If they are convinced, then that is fine. If they are not convinced, it is not permissible for the daughter, especially if she claims to be committed to the Shari'ah, to disobey her parents in a visit like this.

The questioner : My teacher, regarding the lessons, does the same apply to them? For example, we are in a lesson about exhortation regarding something?

The Shaykh : The same thing applies; permission is necessary.
