The questioner : He says:The questioner : You mentioned, may Allah guide you, that a person should not give his 'Id sacrifice to those outside and that he must slaughter it himself; is the hady the same? And what do you say about some of the companies that accept the hady and the 'Id sacrifice? Should we give it to them?

The Shaykh : Yes. As for the 'Id sacrifice, do not give it to the companies; sacrifice in your own countries. As for the hady, it is known that those who go to Makkah, if they slaughter the hady, it is difficult for them to distribute it to those who are entitled to it. So if they give it to those who accept it, there is no harm. These people who accept the hady do so with permission from the government, and their taking of the hady is like the taking of a poor person. So the one who hands it over to them, through the government, is as if he handed it over to the poor person exactly, and there is no harm in it due to the need. And with that, we say: if you are able to slaughter your hady yourself or appoint someone in Makkah to do it, do not give it to the companies. Whenever you have the means to avoid giving to the companies regarding the hady, do not give it to them. As for the 'Id sacrifices, you have learned that one does not give them to them at all, because every person can sacrifice in his home, eat from its meat, and distribute it according to his circumstances. Yes.
