Working in one of the riba banks and receiving money for it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The honorable Shaykh says: I worked in one of the riba banks and received money for it. How do I repent with a sincere repentance, knowing that I am now working in a halal job and have left that forbidden work?

The Shaykh : I hope that his repentance has demolished what came before it, because Allah the Exalted said:
So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair rests with Allah فَمَنْ جَاءَهُ مَوْعِظَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِ فَانْتَهَى فَلَهُ مَا سَلَفَ وَأَمْرُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ
[Al-Baqarah 2:275]
. So Allah permitted him what had passed. And He said: his affair is with Allah, unless the riba was not taken. If a person repents, he does not take it, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
The usury of the pre-Islamic period is abolished, and the first of our usury I abolish is that of ‘Abbas b. ‘Abd al-Muttalib ربا الجاهلية موضوع. وأول ربا أضع من ربانا ربا عباس بن عبد المطلب
Mishkat al-Masabih 2555
. But if he took it, if he took it, he does not spend it on himself. Rather, he gives it in charity to get rid of it. Yes.
