The Shaykh : We say first to the husband: do not prevent your wife from going out to the mosque, for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade you from doing so, saying:Sunan Abi Dawud 566 And we say to the wife: if your husband prevents you, obey him, for he may only be preventing you for a benefit or out of fear of fitnah (trial, discord or temptation), and it is as he said, that your prayer at home is better than your prayer in the mosque, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Yes.
