The questioner : The last question in the message from the female listener, your sister in Allah from the Kingdom, says: Please interpret the verse from Surat al-Takwir in the saying of Allah the Exalted
And when full-term she-camels are neglected وَإِذَا العِشارُ عُطِّلَت
[At-Takwir 81:4]
and the other verse
(8) And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked (9) For what sin she was killed وَإِذَا المَوءودَةُ سُئِلَت * بِأَيِّ ذَنبٍ قُتِلَت
[At-Takwir 81:8-9]
?

The Shaykh : As for the first verse, which is the saying of Allah the Exalted
And when full-term she-camels are neglected وَإِذَا العِشارُ عُطِّلَت
[At-Takwir 81:4]
This is because every person has a concern that makes them indifferent to others, to the extent that a person flees from his brother, his mother, his father, his wife, and his children. Thus, they do not care about the most valuable wealth among the Arabs, which is the pregnant camels.
As for the second verse, the female infant who is buried alive is the girl who is buried while still alive. Among the Arabs in the pre-Islamic age of ignorance, there were those who buried their daughters out of fear of disgrace, as Allah the Exalted said
(58) And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. (59) He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide.
[An-Nahl 16:58-59]
. This female infant, when the Day of Resurrection comes, will be asked for what sin she was killed. It is well known that she has no sin, but she is asked in order to rebuke, reprove, and blame those who buried her. This is like saying to a person who has been wronged in the presence of his wrongdoer, “By what means did you aggress against you? By what means did you take your wealth?” and the like, which serves to reprove the doer and exonerate the one acted upon. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.
