Is it permissible for the ma'mum to speak to correct the imam's prayer if he forgets?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If the imam ... in his prayer and you say to him: "Subhan Allah," and he does not realize ... what should he do? ... Do you speak to him with words?

The Shaykh : No, he does not speak with words; he follows him in his prayer and it will end. If I speak during my prayer, it becomes obligatory, and he must perform sujud al-sahw, so he will prostrate with his companions. Be patient with me, and he will prostrate for forgetfulness, and his prayer and your prayer behind him will be valid.

The questioner : He.

The Shaykh : Be patient, may Allah forgive you. I see you trying to slip away, wanting to follow up the question with another question, but when the answer to question number one comes to you, if he does not notice his mistake, the wise Lawgiver permits you to say what the Companions of the Messenger said: "Did the prayer fall short, or did you forget?" He will say: "The prayer did not fall short, and I did not forget." Then you say: "No, you did such and such." At that point, I think he will notice his mistake, because a person does not stubbornly insist on the validity of the prayer. At that point, despite the occurrence of such speech, he will prostrate the two prostrations of forgetfulness, and the prayer will be completed. Now, do you have anything to say?

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : Do you have an answer? What do you say to this one who left a prostration?

The questioner : I say to him: "Subhan Allah!"

The Shaykh : Later, later; when you said "Subhan Allah" and he did not understand you as I said, and he continued in his prayer ... what do you say to him after he has performed taslim? Did it not become clear to him ...?

The questioner : Make it clear.

The Shaykh : Okay; so either he will believe you or he will not believe you. He may insist that he did not leave a prostration, and this is possible. Okay; if he believes you, because the Messenger said to the Companions:
Did the one with two hands tell the truth? أَصَدَقَ ذو اليدين ؟
. The intention is not what contradicts truth; meaning, it is such and such. Lying is used to mean intentional lying, and it is used to mean the opposite of mistake. Similarly, truth is used in this way. So the intention is that if this worshipper, when you said to him and you see the prostration and the prayer is invalid with this; he will return to perform a rak'ah to make up for this prostration, and then he will prostrate the two prostrations of forgetfulness. This is in the best possibility, meaning he believes you. But he may not be convinced by your opinion and your words, and the others are distracted in their prayer, like those who pray and go out. At that point, if he refuses to bring the rak'ah for the sake of the prostration, he bears the sin of this prayer, and your prayer is valid; due to his saying (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the imams:
Your leaders will lead you in Salat (prayer). If they conduct it properly, you and they will be rewarded; but if they make mistakes you will earn the reward and they will be held responsible (for the mistakes). يصلون بكم ؛ فإن أصابوا فلكم ولهم ، وإن أخطؤوا فلكم وعليهم
Riyad as-Salihin 1838
, but the obligatory duty of the ma'mum is to give notice, and it is not his obligatory duty to guide,
Indeed, [O Muhammad], you do not guide whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills إِنَّكَ لَا تَهْدِي مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ يَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ
[Al-Qasas 28:56]
. Did you get the answer to your question? What do you have in the book?

The questioner : ... a hadith about when it is in the rak'ah ... ... .

The Shaykh : If it is in a rak'ah, it is not considered and not counted, so it is as if he left a rak'ah.
What do you have?
