If the saliva of search dogs gets on parts of the car, is it obligatory to remove all of it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : When entering Saudi Arabia, at customs during the inspection, there is a special section for dogs. Sometimes these dogs are black. When they enter to inspect the car, their saliva drips on the seat, the steering wheel, and other parts of the car. What is the ruling on this in the religion?

The Shaykh : If saliva gets on a part of the car, either that part is smooth metal, in which case it suffices to wipe it, or it is cloth, in which case it must be washed to the extent of one's ability. However, if this saliva remains on the metal or the cloth, once it dries, it does not harm the person sitting on it. But if it remains wet and damp and gets on the clothing of the person sitting on that seat, then the ruling of washing applies, and it is necessary. So, the issue is that it is obligatory to remove this saliva because it is ritually impure, to the extent possible. Otherwise, please proceed.
