The questioner : The questioner says: She recalls that she is a young woman who married ten years ago and has not been blessed with children. She says: Her husband, praise be to Allah, treats her well, but he wants to marry another woman, and I do not agree. My question is: Am I sinful for preventing him from marrying another? And will I be sinful if I request a divorce from my husband if he marries another? Please guide me in light of my question.

The Shaykh : The husband may marry as many women as he wishes, as the Exalted said:
then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four فَانكِحُواْ مَا طَابَ لَكُم مِّنَ النِّسَاء مَثْنَى وَثُلاَثَ وَرُبَاعَ
[An-Nisa 4:3]
So he may marry up to four. It is not the right of a woman, nor is it permissible for her, to prevent him from marrying another, because the right of plural marriage belongs to the husband, not the wife, unless she had stipulated to her husband at the time of the marriage contract that he not marry another over her. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The condition worthier to be fulfilled by you is the one by which you made the private parts (of your wife) lawful (for you). إن أحق الشروط أن توفوا به ما استحللتم به الفروج
Sunan Abi Dawud 2139Sahih (Al-Albani)
As for without a stipulation, it is not permissible for her to prevent her husband, and it is not obligatory for him to refrain if she asks him not to marry. Rather, he may marry whether she is pleased or angry. And if he marries, it is not her right to demand the divorce of the other, nor is it permissible for her to demand the divorce of the other, and he is not obligated to divorce her if she asks, because it was reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that
Whoever asks her husband for a divorce without a valid reason, the scent of Paradise is forbidden to her مَنْ سألت زوجها الطلاق من غير بأس فحرام عليها رائحة الجنة
Sunan ad-Darimi 12:9
