Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In this case, O Shaykh, a man gave another man money, for example, five thousand dinars, because they agreed to work on a project, a large shop. The man who took the money is the expert in the project and is the one who will set up the shop and work, and so on. After he took the money and set up everything, and the shop, so to speak, stood on its feet, he thought about working on his own. So he came to his partner and said to him, "Take your money, and you cannot work with me." Is this permissible?

The Shaykh : It is not up to him to do as he pleases. Just as they partnered with their consent, they must dissolve the partnership with their consent. One does not impose his opinion on everyone. It is by negotiation.

The questioner : What if the owner of the money demands compensation? The Shaykh : When they agree.

The questioner : He has the right to demand that they agree on something.
