The Shaykh’s remarks on the trial of the Dajjal.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : This obligation on the plains of the Day of Resurrection has a parallel in the final days of this world, namely when the Great Dajjal emerges, about whom the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us in many mass-transmitted hadiths. Among them is his saying (peace be upon him):
Between the creation of Adam and the Hour is a trial more severe than the trial of the Dajjal. ما بين خلق آدم والساعة فتنة أشد من فتنة المسيح الدجال
This is because he comes with marvels, with anomalies to the natural order, such that those weak in faith believe that he is truly as he claims, that he is the Lord, and that he is the deity who deserves worship. For he says to the sky, "Rain," and it rains; he says to the barren, dry earth, "Sprout, bring forth your vegetation," and it becomes green and leafy; and he says to the ruin, "Bring forth your treasures," and the treasures come out walking behind him. These are among the trials by which people are tested with the Dajjal. But Allah (Mighty and Majestic), as is His custom with His servants, tests people with both good and evil. So in addition to making these types of anomalies available to this Dajjal, He tests him by making him one-eyed, with "Kafir" (disbeliever) written on his forehead, which both the illiterate and the literate can read. This is proof of his being a liar, while those are proofs that mislead those weak in faith into thinking he is a god. Therefore, when he (peace and blessings be upon him) described him as one-eyed, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
And your Lord is not one-eyed, and none of you will see his Lord until he dies. وإن ربكم ليس بأعور , وإن أحدكم لن يرى ربه حتى يموت
And for those who disobey him, he shows them the Fire. So the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
So whoever disbelieves in him, he will put him in the Fire while he is in Paradise—and the reverse is the reverse—whoever believes in him, he will put him in Paradise while he is in the Fire. فمن كفر به أدخله النار وهو في الجنة ـ والعكس بالعكس ـ من آمن به أدخله الجنة وهو في النار
This same process is repeated on the Day of Resurrection with those groups. I think this is the answer to your question.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
