Forgiveness for one who visits a brother of his in Allah.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : ... In the Noble Qur'an, there is a prohibition against quarreling
and do not dispute and [thus] lose courage and [then] your strength would depart ولا تنازعوا فتفشلوا وتذهب ريحكم
[Al-Anfal 8:46]
If Muslims fail, or at least a faction of them, the consequences of this failure are very severe, including what you mentioned earlier, which is the decrease in visiting one another, which is accompanied by turning away from one another. Turning away entails abandoning visiting, so it is no surprise at all that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited his Ummah from hating one another and turning away from one another, and that we say to them: be brothers, as Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) commanded you. If this is not realized, which people have abandoned today... What realizes and encourages Muslims to visit one another and to advise one another in Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is not hidden from you, His saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
Religion is sincerity, religion is sincerity (Al-Nasihah), religion is sincerity." They said; "To whom, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "To Allah, to His Book, to His Messenger, to the imams of the Muslims and to their common folk." الدين النصيحة الدين النصيحة الدين النصيحة قالوا: لمن يا رسول الله؟ قال: لله ولكتابه ولنبيه ولأئمة المسلمين وعامتهم
Sunan an-Nasa'i 4199Sahih (Darussalam)
We are among the common Muslims here with you, so it is upon us to advise one another, then to love one another, and then to visit one another in Allah, so that we may be beloved by Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He), as came in the sacred hadiths, indeed as came in that hadith in which the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
A man went out to visit a brother of his in Allah, so Allah sent to him an angel on his path and said to him: Where are you going? He said: To such-and-such a village. He said: Do you have any trade there that you will increase and grow? He said: No. He said: Then why? He said: I am visiting a brother of mine in Allah. He said: I am the messenger of Allah to you, that Allah has forgiven you for your visit to your brother in Allah.
We hope for this forgiveness through our visit to you, and my visit to you is not for flattery, but rather for affection, endearment, and mutual advice in Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Therefore, I say: we have heard some advice from you regarding the style of da'wah, naturally the da'wah of Islam, the da'wah of truth, the da'wah of the Book and the Sunnah. But you live, as we live, in a society where parties, groups, and sects have multiplied in a recent development that had no mention in the past. What came before is known in the books of history and the sects. What do we have to do with those sects? The partisanship, clustering, and division among us today is sufficient for us; what is among us is sufficient for us; what is among us is sufficient.
The questioner : In light of this, you must have heard of a da'wah that belongs to the Salaf al-Salih (the earliest generations). As you heard in some gatherings that we were honored to attend with you, this da'wah constantly revolves around the Book and the Sunnah and the methodology of the Salaf al-Salih. Meanwhile, you undoubtedly hear other da'wahs that differ only slightly from this da'wah, because any faction on the face of the earth of Islam, and they are from the Muslims, cannot but claim to be upon the Book. They claim to be upon the Book and the Sunnah. Do you have any advice to direct regarding the da'wah you heard, which is upon the Book and the Sunnah and the methodology of the Salaf al-Salih, considering it a da'wah established upon this clear methodology? As for the advice you directed regarding the style of da'wah, we have heard it and accepted it, because it is also from our da'wah, because it is from the Qur'an of our Lord:
Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best ادع إلى سبيل ربك بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة وجادلهم بالتي هي أحسن
[An-Nahl 16:125]
So the issue now is not about the style, but about the substance of the da'wah.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : Do you have any observation regarding the da'wah itself, which is established upon the Book and the Sunnah and the methodology of the Salaf al-Salih? If so, we are honored to hear it and we will advise one another in it, negatively or positively, as required by the Book of our Lord and the Sunnah of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
The questioner : And if the other, meaning you have no observation regarding the da'wah specifically, then I confirm, so that we are clear about the research and mutual advice, and so that nothing is lost to us of this opportunity that has presented itself to us in this blessed hour, if Allah wills.

The questioner : May Allah reward you.
