Advice for the upright youth.

The Shaykh : May Allah bless you. Muslims, and especially those who are committed, should strive to help one another and not burden one another. And let things proceed according to the reported traditions. I say "reported" because I am not certain of the authenticity of what is reported from 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) when he said in this transmission: "Seek an excuse for your brother." That is, if he did say it as it was transmitted, and I consider that unlikely. But he said a word in the way of exaggeration. And regarding the insistence on the purity of the session from what clouds its scholarly clarity: what should we assume about him? Do we assume he is criticizing the one who might throw in a joke in passing, or does he want to preserve the purity of the session? "Seek an excuse for your brother." Therefore, one should not widen the patch on the patcher. We ask Allah (Mighty and Majestic) to inspire us with the right in what we do and in what we leave. Now you have five minutes with us, so bring out what you have.
