The Shaykh's ruling on the Ibadis and their like as being misguided, and not as disbelievers who will remain in the Fire forever, and his argumentation using the hadith of the man who ordered his sons to burn him.

The Shaykh : To conclude, we have a hadith closely related to the hesitation in ruling on the ultimate fate of these misguided people with the Lord of the Worlds. We stop at ruling that they are misguided, as for whether they are disbelievers and will remain in the Fire forever, their affair is with Allah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, There was among those before them a man who had never done any good. When death approached him, he gathered his sons around him and said to them, "What kind of father was I to you?" They said, "The best father." He said, "I am a sinner with my Lord, and if Allah were to have power over me, He would punish me with a severe punishment. So when I die, take me and burn me in the fire, then scatter half of me in the wind and half in the sea." They burned him in the fire, and took the ash, scattering half in the wind and half in the sea. Then Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said to his particles, "Be so-and-so," and he became a sound human being. He said, "O My servant, what led you to do what you did?" He said, "My Lord, I feared You." He said, "I have forgiven you.". In our standard, this man is a disbeliever, and he is the one to whom the statement of Allah the Exalted applies: [Ya-Sin 36:78-79]. Our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) dealt with him contrary to our human standards. This man denied the resurrection and the rising, so why was he ordered to be burned? And his half scattered in the sea, and his half in the wind? He said, "So that he may stray from his Lord, and our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) cannot bring him back a second time, because if he were brought back again, He would punish him rightfully, because he had previously admitted that he had never done any good, 'And if Allah were to have power over me, He would punish me with a severe punishment.' His fear of the Allah in whom he believed trapped him in this predicament, which led him to disbelief. There is no doubt this is disbelief, but Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has a scale other than the scales of humans. He knew from him that his fear, the intensity of his fear of his Lord, blinded his insight from the fact that his Lord (Blessed and Exalted is He) is able to give life to bones when they are crumbled. Therefore, when He restored him as he was, He said: ? He said, "My Lord, I feared You." He said: . So it is sufficient for us to say that this sect and that sect are misguided, because they contradict the Salaf in understanding the texts of the Book and the Sunnah. What concerns us is whether they are disbelievers or not; we want guidance for them. It is sufficient to say that you are misguided, so follow the guidance that came to us from the Book and the Sunnah and the methodology of the righteous Salaf.
(78) And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?" (79) Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time

ماذا فعلت أو حملكI have forgiven you.
قد غفرت لك
