The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
As for what follows, we apologize to the brothers for this delay, because we know that every birth has labor, and there must be some things that need to be fixed. Perhaps, if Allah wills, in the coming nights, the brothers will have prepared the amplifier before the lesson begins.
O brothers, we praise Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, for He has bestowed upon us the grace of remaining until we have reached this blessed month. We ask Allah to make our remaining in this world a means of increasing in righteous deeds.
O brothers, it is obligatory upon us to reflect and to remember those who were with us in this place and elsewhere last year, among our relatives, friends, and colleagues. How did they leave the world and depart from it to the abode of retribution? They departed from it as Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, described them in His saying:[Al-An'am 6:94] A person moves from this world, and three things follow him: his family, his wealth, and his deeds. Two return and one remains. His wealth and his family return, and his deeds remain. A person moves from this world, and no one dies but that he regrets. If he was a doer of good, he regrets that he did not increase. If he was a doer of evil, he regrets that he did not seek forgiveness. He moves from this world saying, in the language of his state or his words, what Allah the Exalted mentioned in His saying: [Al-Mu'minun 23:99-100] Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Mu'minun 23:100] A person moves from this world to the Hereafter as if he had not remained in this world except for one hour, no matter how long his life in this world was. [An-Nazi'at 79:46] [Al-Ahqaf 46:35]
And take a lesson, O brother, take a lesson from what has passed regarding what is to come. All the time you have left behind is as if it were a single moment, as if you had not lived in this world except for this moment in which you are living now. And so, when death approaches, it is as if you had not lived except for that moment in which death came to you.

And you have certainly come to Us alone as We created you the first time, and you have left whatever We bestowed upon you behind you
ولقد جئتمونا فرادى كما خلقناكم أول مرة وتركتم ما خولناكم وراء ظهوركمuntil, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back (100) That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind."
حتى إذا جاء أحدهم الموت قال رب ارجعون لعلي أعمل صالحاً فيما تركتNo! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected.
كلا إنها كلمة هو قائلها ومن ورائهم برزخ إلى يوم يبعثونIt will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.
كأنهم يوم يرونها لم يلبثوا إلا عشية أو ضحاهاIt will be - on the Day they see that which they are promised - as though they had not remained [in the world] except an hour of a day. [This is] notification. And will [any] be destroyed except the defiantly disobedient people?
كأنهم يوم يرون ما يوعدون لم يلبثوا إلا ساعة من نهار بلاغ فهل يهلك إلا القوم الفاسقونAnd take a lesson, O brother, take a lesson from what has passed regarding what is to come.
