A word from the Shaykh about this community reaching the month of Ramadan and that it is a blessing from Allah the Exalted upon us.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah; we praise Him, seek His help, and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our own souls and from the badness of our deeds. Whom Allah guides, none can mislead, and whom He leaves to mislead, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. Allah the Exalted sent him with guidance and the religion of truth, so he conveyed the message, fulfilled the trust, and advised the community. He left the community on a clear, straight path, its night like its day, and none deviates from it except one who is destroyed. His successors after him carried his Shari'ah in his community—his successors who succeeded him in his community in knowledge, worship, calling, and struggle—until his religion, praise be to Allah, reached the east and west of the earth.
O my brothers, this night is the night of Wednesday, the sixth of the month of Ramadan, in the year 1414, and it is the first meeting of this month. It had been planned that we would have two meetings every week: one on Saturday night, the night of Sunday, and the other on Tuesday night, the night of Wednesday. However, last Sunday night we had some business, so we spoke about what we spoke about and what was facilitated, praise be to Allah.
As for this night, we remind our brothers of Allah’s blessing upon us that we have reached this month, and we ask Him to complete it for us with righteous deeds and acceptance. How many people wish to reach this month but do not reach it? And how many people were with us on a night like this last year, but are now bound by their deeds in their graves? Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, has kept us alive after some of our brothers have departed from us to the abode of retribution. So we ask Allah the Exalted to forgive them and not to leave us alone after them.
O my brothers, the sane and decisive person is one who seizes the days by seizing them and takes advantage of their opportunities by taking advantage of them, for time does not show mercy. Time moves; it does not stop for the excuse of one who makes excuses, nor for the sleep of one who sleeps, nor for the illness of one who is ill. It is a time that moves in every hour and every moment. If you are long-lived in this world, it shortens your life in the future. Every moment that passes moves you further from this world and closer to the Hereafter. And a long life is not a source of joy unless a person spends it in obedience to his Lord. We ask Allah to make us and you among those. Indeed, the best of people is the one whose life is long and whose deeds are good, and the worst of people is the one whose life is long and whose deeds are bad. Indeed, every person who dies regrets: if he was a doer of good, he regrets that he did not increase; and if he was a doer of evil, he regrets that he did not seek pardon.[Al-Mu'minun 23:99-100]
