Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He says that among the benefits of this, or among the rulings in this trial, is the exposure of the hypocrites. And what do you know about the hypocrites?
Indeed, the hypocrites [think to] deceive Allah, but He is deceiving them
[An-Nisa 4:142]
They [think to] deceive Allah and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves
[Al-Baqarah 2:9]
Indeed, the hypocrites - it is they who are the defiantly disobedient.
[At-Tawbah 9:67]
Consider that Allah said about the disbelievers:
O you who have believed, do not take My enemies and your enemies as allies
[Al-Mumtahanah 60:1]
"My enemy and your enemy," and He said about the hypocrients:
They are the enemy, so beware of them.
[Al-Munafiqun 63:4]
"They are the enemy." This is a declarative sentence with both sides specified, which, according to the experts of rhetoric, implies what? It implies exclusivity, as if there is no enemy for the believers other than the hypocrites. This is because their enmity is more severe, harsher, and more painful, for they are...
And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We believe"; but when they are alone with their evil ones, they say, "Indeed, we are with you; we were only mockers."
[Al-Baqarah 2:14]
The hypocrite meets you...
