Does extreme heat or extreme cold affect the ruling on eating?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : All right. Is it like that if there is disturbing heat? Do we say: "Go, cool off, then pray," or do we say: "Pray while you are disturbed by the heat"? The first or the second? The first. The first, so that he can devote himself to his prayer with a clear mind. All right. Is it also like that with extreme cold, such that we say to this person who is suffering from the cold: "Go, put on clothes, then pray," or "Go, warm yourself by the fire, then pray," or do we say: "Pray even if your mind is preoccupied with the cold"?
The student: The first.

The Shaykh : The first. The broad principle with us is that anything that occupies a person from the presence of his heart in prayer, or to which his soul is attached if it is desirable, or from which he is anxious if it is disliked, he must rid himself of it before entering into prayer.
We derive from this a benefit: and that is that the core of prayer and the spirit of prayer is the presence of what? The heart. This is the core of prayer and its spirit. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded the removal of everything that stands in the way of that before a person enters into his prayer.
