Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "Until when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, send me back so I may do good in what I left behind.'"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back (100) That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind."
[Al-Mu'minun 23:99-100]
He did not say, "My Lord, send me back so I may build palaces, marry women, acquire wealth, and ride in luxurious cars." Rather, he said, "My Lord, send me back
That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind
[Al-Mu'minun 23:100]
No! كلا
No return.
No! It is only a word he is saying
[Al-Mu'minun 23:100]
Indeed, it is a word he is going to say.
And before them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected

And what comes after the resurrection? After the resurrection is a witnessed day, witnessed by all creation, even the insects and even the beasts.
And when the wild beasts are gathered
[At-Takwir 81:5]
Every single one witnesses it.
(1) By the sky containing great stars (2) And [by] the promised Day (3) And [by] the witness and what is witnessed,
[Al-Buruj 85:1-3]
The creation will testify against you regarding what you did: if it was good, then it is good; and if it was evil, then it is evil. This, by Allah, my brothers, is the truth of certainty. Have we worked for it? Most of us, by Allah, are in heedlessness, and most of our time is spent in heedlessness. Even those who are awake do not remain awake constantly; heedlessness always takes hold of them. So we ask Allah the Exalted, by His grace and generosity, to awaken our hearts and your hearts, and to make us among those who seize the opportunities of lifetimes and times, so that we may fill them with the obedience of Allah Mighty and Majestic.
