Continuation of the explanation: "… And He, the Exalted, said: ((Until when death comes to one of them, he says: 'My Lord, send me back, so that I may do good in that which I left behind.' No! Indeed, it is a word he is going to say, and behind them is a barzakh until the Day they are resurrected. When the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship between them on that Day, nor will they ask one another. So whoever's scales are heavy, those are the successful ones. And whoever's scales are light, those are the ones who have lost themselves in Hellfire, abiding therein. Their faces will be scorched by the Fire, and they will be therein in a wretched state. Were My verses not recited to you, so you used to deny them? They will say: 'Our Lord, our misfortune overpowered us, and we were a lost people. Our Lord, take us out from it; if we return, then indeed we are wrongdoers.' He will say: 'Be wretched therein and do not speak to Me.' Indeed, there was a group among My servants who used to say: 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.' So you took them in mockery, so you caused us to forget the remembrance of Me, and you used to laugh at them. Indeed, I have recompensed them this Day for their patience; they are the successful ones. He will say: 'How long did you remain on earth in number of years?' They will say: 'We remained a day or part of a day, so ask those who count.' He will say: 'You did not remain except a little, if only you had known. Did you think that We created you in vain and that you would not be returned to Us?')) …"

The Shaykh : This is a word that Allah, Mighty and Majestic, affirms that He says, and it is His saying: [Al-Mu'minun 23:99-100], [Al-Mu'minun 23:100]: meaning from before those who are facing death: . The barzakh is the interval between this world and the Hour, whether the person is buried in the ground, or on the surface of the earth being eaten by wild beasts and destroyed by the winds, or in the depths of the seas; all of this is called barzakh. : meaning they come out of the graves to Allah, Mighty and Majestic, on the Day of Resurrection. [Al-Mu'minun 23:101]: and that is when the Hour stands. [Al-Mu'minun 23:101].
The blowing of the Trumpet is twice: the first time involves panic and the stunning, meaning death. Israfil will blow the Trumpet with a blast that has a tremendous, very disturbing sound, so the people will panic and then they will all die, except whom Allah wills.
The second blast: the Trumpet is blown, and the souls come out of the Trumpet and return to their bodies, and this is the one that brings about eternal life after which there is no death.[Al-Mu'minun 23:101]: meaning after they are resurrected from their graves, kinship, meaning relatives, will not benefit them. : they will not ask one another about the other; rather, Allah, the Exalted, says: ['Abasa 80:34-37]. So kinship will not benefit at that time, and relatives will not ask one another, whereas in this world they ask one another: what happened to this one? What happened to this one? But in the Hereafter: ['Abasa 80:37], [Al-Mu'minun 23:101-102]: the people will be divided on that Day into two groups: a group whose scales are heavy, and this is the successful one, gaining what he loves and being saved from what he hates. The scales: the plural of scale, and it has come in the Book and the Sunnah both in the plural and the singular. So Allah, the Exalted, said here: [Al-A'raf 7:8], and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sahih al-Bukhari 7563, and he said: , and he did not say: in the scales. So it was pluralized once and singularized another time, and that is because of the abundance of what is weighed. So because of the abundance of what is weighed, it was pluralized, and because the scale is one, in which there is no injustice or shortcoming, it was singularized. As for what is weighed, some scholars said: "What is weighed is the deed", and some scholars said: "What is weighed are the records of deeds", and some scholars said: "What is weighed is the doer himself", and that is because each of them has hadiths supporting it.
As for those who say that what is weighed is the deed, they cited as evidence His saying, the Exalted:[Az-Zalzalah 99:7-8], making the weighing for the deed, and the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Sahih al-Bukhari 7563: making the heaviness for the two words, which are the deeds. And those who said that what is weighed are the records of deeds cited as evidence the hadith of the man with the card, who comes on the Day of Resurrection and a record is extended to him, meaning many sheets, as far as the eye can see, all of them sins, so when he sees that he has perished, Allah says to him: . This indicates that what is weighed are the records of deeds. As for those who said that what is weighed is the doer himself, they cited as evidence His saying, the Exalted: [Al-Kahf 18:105], and that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said when the people laughed at Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), and he (may Allah be pleased with him) was thin, so he went to an acacia tree in a strong wind, and the wind made him sway, so the people laughed at that, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: . This indicates that what is weighed is the doer himself. And the important thing is that on the Day of Resurrection, the deeds or the records of deeds or the doers are weighed. [Al-Mu'minun 23:102-103]. We ask Allah to make us and you among those whose scales are heavy and among the successful ones who win the pleasure of Allah. And Allah is the One who grants success.
And His saying, Exalted is He:[Al-A'raf 7:9]: He only said: they have lost themselves, because they were brought out to this world, and the messengers came to them and clarified the truth to them, but they, refuge with Allah, were stubborn and arrogant, so they lost themselves and did not benefit from their existence in this world at all. Allah, the Exalted, said: [Az-Zumar 39:15]. Then He, the Exalted, said, clarifying that just as they are punished physically, they are also punished spiritually; they are rebuked and blamed, and it is said to them: [Al-Mu'minun 23:105]: so the verses of Allah were recited to them and clarified to them, and the messengers came to them with the truth, but they disbelieved, refuge with Allah, and denied these verses. They said in response: [Al-Mu'minun 23:106-107], meaning: if we return to denial : they will admit, refuge with Allah, that misfortune overpowered them, and that they were lost in the clear misguidance that led them to this Fire—may Allah protect us and you from it. Allah, the Exalted, said: [Al-Mu'minun 23:108], meaning: remain in it in a state of humiliation and lowliness, and do not speak to Me. And this is the most severe thing for them, refuge with Allah, that Allah rebukes them with this rebuke and says: [Al-Mu'minun 23:108]. For if they spoke to Allah, He would not respond to them, because He has decreed for them eternal abode in the Fire. Then He, the Exalted, said, clarifying their state with His awliya (close friends of Allah): [Al-Mu'minun 23:109]: and these are the believers in Allah and His messengers, saying: Our Lord, indeed we have believed, meaning: we have believed in You, and in Your messenger, and in the truth they brought. [Al-A'raf 7:155][Al-Mu'minun 23:109]: so no one is more merciful to the servants of Allah than their Lord, Mighty and Majestic. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: . [Al-Mu'minun 23:110]: meaning that you mocked these believers who believe in Allah and ask Him for forgiveness and mercy, so you mocked them and ridiculed them. : meaning until your mockery of them and your ridicule of them caused you to forget the remembrance of Me. [Al-Mu'minun 23:110]: meaning in this world they laugh at the believers and ridicule them, but Allah said in Surat al-Mutaffifin: [Al-Mutaffifin 83:34], and this is the laughter after which there is no weeping. As for the laughter of the disbelievers at the Muslims in this world, it will be followed by eternal weeping, refuge with Allah.
[Al-Mu'minun 23:111] : This means that Allah the Exalted rewarded the believers for their patience in obeying Allah, their patience in refraining from His disobedience, and their patience with His decrees: [Al-Mu'minun 23:111] : Those who succeeded on this Day, attaining what was sought and escaping what was feared. Allah mentioned this regarding these deniers to increase their regret and remorse, as if He, Mighty and Majestic, is saying: If you had been like them, you would have attained this reward. Thus, their regret increases upon their regret, may Allah protect us from that. How was the state of those who used to mock them in this world and laugh at them, and how was their own state in the Fire of Hell? He said: [Al-Mu'minun 23:112-113]: Look, the messengers came to them, and they lived a life in which whoever remembered did remember, but may Allah protect us, they did not benefit from this. They saw that they had stayed as if for an hour or part of an hour: [Al-Mu'minun 23:113]: Ask those who count among us, for we do not see that we stayed except for a day or part of a day. Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Isra 17:52] meaning: You stayed only a little in this world, and your affair ended in the Hereafter, where you will remain forever, being punished. [Al-Mu'minun 23:114] meaning: If you had been among those with knowledge, you would have known the extent of your denial of the messengers, and the extent of the deeds you lost. [Al-Mu'minun 23:115] [Al-Mu'minun 23:115] : They thought so; they held this belief, but Allah rebuked them for this belief. Is it the wisdom of Allah to create this creation, send messengers to them, and send down books upon them, and then for the end to be death and extinction without resurrection? Without return? This is impossible, but this is [Sad 38:27] .
Then He, the Exalted, said:[Al-Mu'minun 23:116] : Exalted means He, Mighty and Majestic, is above all deficiency and all evil, and He is high above His Throne, Glorified and Exalted is He. [Taha 20:114] : The King means the One possessing sovereignty, power, and greatness. : Whose kingdom and dominion were true and not false. meaning: There is no true object of worship except Allah, Mighty and Majestic. [Al-Mu'minun 23:116-117] to the end of the surah. These verses clarify that a person should seize the opportunity of life and not waste his life as these people did. He will be resurrected, rewarded, and held accountable for his deeds. So we ask Allah the Exalted to make us and you among those whose reckoning is easy, and whose end is in the abode of permanence in the Gardens of Delight.
"My Lord, send me back (100) That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind."
رب ارجعون لعلّي أعمل صالحا فيما تركتand behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected.
A barrier until the Day they are resurrected.
Until the Day they are resurrected.
So when the Horn is blown
فإذا نفخ في الصّورno relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another.
The blowing of the Trumpet is twice: the first time involves panic and the stunning, meaning death. Israfil will blow the Trumpet with a blast that has a tremendous, very disturbing sound, so the people will panic and then they will all die, except whom Allah wills.
The second blast: the Trumpet is blown, and the souls come out of the Trumpet and return to their bodies, and this is the one that brings about eternal life after which there is no death.
no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another.
Nor will they ask one another.
(34) On the Day a man will flee from his brother (35) And his mother and his father (36) And his wife and his children, (37) For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him.
For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him.
(101) So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. (102) And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful.
So those whose scales are heavy
(There are) two words which are dear to the Beneficent (Allah) and very light (easy) for the tongue (to say), but very heavy in weight in the balance. They are: ''Subhan Allah wa-bi hamdihi'' and ''Subhan Allah Al-`Azim.
In the scale
As for those who say that what is weighed is the deed, they cited as evidence His saying, the Exalted:
(7) So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, (8) And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
فمن يعمل مثقال ذرّة خيرا يره * ومن يعمل مثقال ذرّة شرّا يرهtwo words which are dear to the Beneficent (Allah) and very light (easy) for the tongue (to say), but very heavy in weight in the balance
Indeed, We have for you a good deed. So a card is brought to him containing La ilaha illa Allah (There is no deity but Allah), which he said from his heart, and the card is placed in one pan and those records in the other pan, and the card outweighs them.
إنا عندنا لك حسنة ، فيؤتى ببطاقة فيها لا إله إلاّ الله قالها من قلبه فتوضع البطاقة في كفّة وتلك السّجّلات في كفّة ، فترجح البطاقة بهاand We will not assign to them on the Day of Resurrection any importance.
Are you laughing—or he said—are you amazed at the thinness of his legs? By Myself in Whose Hand is my soul, they are heavier in the scale than Mount Uhud.
(102) And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. (103) But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally.
And His saying, Exalted is He:
they are the ones who will lose themselves
Say, "Indeed, the losers are the ones who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, that is the manifest loss."
[It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?"
Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. (107) Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return
Then we are wrongdoers.
Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me.
Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me.
Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.'
إنه كان فريقٌ من عبادي يقولون ربنا آمنا فاغفر لنا وارحمنا وأنت خير الراحممينso forgive us and have mercy upon us
فاغفر لنا وارحمناand You are the best of the merciful.'
Allah is more merciful to His servants than a mother is to her child.
But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them.
So that you made us forget the remembrance of Me.
حتى أنسوكم ذكريand you used to laugh at them.
So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers,
Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]."
إنّي جزيتهم اليوم بما صبروا أنهم هم الفائزونthat they are the attainers [of success]."
(112) [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" (113) They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate."
They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate."
قالوا لبثنا يوما أو بعض يوم فاسألوا العادّينthat you had not remained [in the world] except for a little."
He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known.
Then did you think that We created you uselessly
أفحسبتم أنما خلقناكم عبثًاand that to Us you would not be returned?"
وأنكم إلينا لا ترجعونthe assumption of those who disbelieve, so woe to those who disbelieve from the Fire.
Then He, the Exalted, said:
