(Examples of the second type of tawhid, which is negative verbal tawhid, and its evidence) And the first is purifying al-Rahman from *** describing defects and everything that involves deficiency

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He said: "And the first is purifying al-Rahman from *** describing defects"
What is the first? The connected one is negation
"And the first is purifying al-Rahman from *** describing defects and everything that involves deficiency"
Such as death; Allah negated death from Himself and said:
And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die
[Al-Furqan 25:58]
and fatigue
and did not fail in their creation
[Al-Ahqaf 46:33]
and weariness
and there touched Us no weariness.
[Qaf 50:38]

"Which *** are negated from the power of the Bountiful Creator"
"And sleep and drowsiness"
Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep.
[Al-Baqarah 2:255]
Yes, I have al-Mannan
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Two copies, okay, put down the second copy
"And sleep and drowsiness, which is its root ***" Allah the Exalted said:
Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep.
[Al-Baqarah 2:255]
Drowsiness is the root of sleep because it is drowsiness, and drowsiness is the first stage of sleep. Reflect on His saying:
Neither drowsiness overtakes Him لا تأخذه سنة
[Al-Baqarah 2:255]
meaning that the drowsiness that overcomes others will not overcome Him. For when a person stays awake for a long time, sleep overcomes him until he speaks to people while sleeping, climbs stairs while sleeping, and descends while sleeping. This is something observed; sleep overcomes him. But Allah, Mighty and Majestic, is not overcome by drowsiness or sleep. Okay
"*** And the absence of anything from Him in the worlds:" Allah the Exalted said:
Not absent from Him is an atom's weight within the heavens or within the earth
[Saba 34:3]
And "absence" means being hidden, meaning nothing is hidden from Him
