Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"He is the One who grants honor to the people of His obedience, and this is *** true honor that does not cease"
He is the One who grants honor to the people of His obedience. Allah has made clear who the people of honor are, saying:
And to Allah belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers ولله العزة ولرسوله وللمؤمنين
[Al-Munafiqun 63:8]
These are the ones who deserve honor. As for Allah (Mighty and Majestic), His honor is intrinsic and necessary to His life. As for the Messenger and the believers, their honor is not intrinsic, because it comes from Allah and is contingent upon His will and wisdom.
