(Explanation of the trial of the monotheist with the people of innovation) So you see the monotheist when he hears their words *** and sees them in trial and humiliation, and woe to his eye and his ear *** O trial

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"So you see the monotheist when he hears their words *** and sees them in trial and humiliation"
Yes, when the monotheist sees them and hears their words, he is in trial and humiliation, as al-Mutanabbi said:
"And among the hardships of this world for the noble man is that he sees *** an enemy for whom there is no alternative to his friendship" This is among the hardships of this world
"Among the hardships for the noble man is that he sees *** an enemy for whom there is no alternative to his friendship"
These people who come to the gatherings of the people of the Sunnah, speak with them, and debate with them, harm the people of the Sunnah. They harm them by their presence and they harm them by their words. For this reason, he says:
"So you see the monotheist when he hears their words *** and sees them in trial and humiliation
And mercy to his eye and his ear *** "

To his eye when? When he sees them, and to his ear when he hears them.
"And to his ear *** O trial of the two eyes and the two ears
If he speaks the truth, they deny it *** and if he speaks falsehood, they attribute it to faith "

If this Sunni speaks the truth, they say: this is a disbeliever. And if they speak falsehood, they say: this is faith. So their falsehood is faith, and the truth of the one who affirms [the attributes] is disbelief. Yes.
"They said to him: You have contradicted the words of the scholars *** "
Yes
"Until when he refutes them, they become his enemies *** "
"When he refutes them" meaning: he refutes the falsehood which they attributed to faith
"They become his enemies *** just as Satan is an enemy to man"
Satan said to man: disbelieve. So when he disbelieved, [Satan] said: I am innocent of you. He disavowed him and became one of his enemies.
