The vessels commanded to be covered in the hadiths.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The vessels that the Wise Lawgiver commanded to be covered and sealed are those containing food or drink. As for empty vessels, the Wise Lawgiver is exalted above imposing on His servants what they are unable to bear. How many empty vessels are there that they would be burdened with covering and sealing? No, this is understood from the totality of the hadiths narrated in this chapter, first, and from observing the objectives of the Wise Lawgiver, second. From what I mentioned first, perhaps you will recall with me that in some of the hadiths, it is stated that on a certain night of the year, a wind blows, and it does not pass over a vessel that is not covered and sealed with the name of Allah, as in some of the hadiths, without that wind striking it, meaning the disease strikes it. Do you recall this? Yes, this confirms that the intended vessels are those filled with food or drink. Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. I testify that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.
