If a person performs the prayer for guidance in a decision, is it permissible for him to cite this prayer as evidence against someone who opposed him?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If a person performs the prayer for guidance in a decision, is it permissible for him to cite this prayer as evidence against someone who opposed him?

The Shaykh : Yes, if a person seeks guidance from his Lord regarding a matter that is unclear to him, and then Allah the Exalted guides him to something, whether it is to proceed or to refrain. Then if someone says to him, "Why did you do this?" and he replies, "I sought guidance from Allah, and this is what happened," then this is a valid argument. Because if the one seeking guidance is sincere with Allah the Exalted, Allah will make easy for him what is in his good.
The prayer for guidance in a decision consists of two units of prayer. When a person completes them and says the salam, he supplicates with the well-known supplication for guidance: "O Allah, I seek Your guidance by Your knowledge, and I seek Your power by Your might, and I ask You of Your great bounty. For You know and I do not know, and You have power and I do not have power, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if this matter is good for me in my religion, my worldly affairs, and the immediate and ultimate outcome of my affairs, then decree it for me and make it easy for me. And if this matter is evil for me in my religion, my worldly affairs, and the immediate and ultimate outcome of my affairs, then turn me away from it and turn it away from me, and decree for me the good wherever it may be, and then make me content with it." If a person does this and then what happens according to the divine decree and destiny of Allah occurs, this indicates that what Allah has chosen for him is good.
