The Meaning of the Saying of Allah the Exalted: "He forgave their evil deeds and improved their condition."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : What is the reward for those who believed in what was revealed to Muhammad? Their reward is His saying:
He will remove from them their misdeeds and amend their condition.
[Muhammad 47:2]
He will remove from them their misdeeds
[Muhammad 47:2]
and improved their condition وأصلح بالهم
meaning their state and affairs. So Allah combined for them two things: the removal of evil and the attainment of good. The removal of evil by expiating their evil deeds, and the attainment of good by improving their condition. And His saying, Exalted is He:
He will remove from them their misdeeds
[Muhammad 47:2]
is fully clarified by the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
The five [daily] prayers, Friday to Friday and Ramadan to Ramadan make atonement for what has happened since the previous one when major sins have been avoided.
Mishkat al-Masabih 564
and his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
An Umra is an expiation for the sins committed between it and the next, and Hajj which is accepted will receive no other reward than Paradise.
Sahih Muslim 1349a
and the second verse
