Clarification that completing the recitation of the Qur'an in Ramadan is not obligatory.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Some people try to complete the recitation of the Qur'an in congregation. What do they do? They read from the recitation of the tarawih prayer during the obligatory prayer, and they read from the recitation of the tarawih prayer during the witr prayer. They deviate from the sunnah, which is reciting "Subha" (al-Ikhlas), "al-Kafirun," and "al-Ikhlas" in the witr, and instead read from the tarawih recitation. For what purpose? To complete the recitation of the Qur'an. And we say, my brother, is this correct?
First: If you read from the recitation of the tarawih prayer during the obligatory prayer, and a person comes in who did not hear the iqamah and joins you, he will say, "What are you praying? Tarawih?" This confuses the intention regarding the witr. You have deviated from what is prescribed to something that is not prescribed.
What is the sunnah? It is reciting "Subha" (al-Ikhlas), "al-Kafirun," and "al-Ikhlas." But he read something else.
So he deviated from the sunnah to something that is not a sunnah, out of consideration for a matter that is questionable, which is completing the recitation of the Qur'an in the tarawih prayer. Because we know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), when he prayed with his Companions for three nights in Ramadan, did not complete the recitation of the Qur'an with them. However, it is reported from the Salaf that they complete the recitation of the Qur'an in the night prayer in Ramadan, and tarawih is part of the night prayer.
In any case, I brought these two examples, and perhaps there are other examples in my mind, in order to say to our brothers: The person who worships Allah for himself is not like the person who worships Allah the Exalted for others. Considering the people is a good thing.
And we say: When we say what I mentioned, we do not want you to abandon the sunnah or for the sunnah to be erased. But it is possible for a person to teach people the sunnah by explaining it, for example in Ramadan or outside of Ramadan. He clarifies to them that the witr was established in various forms, and he clarifies to people, as in the case of sujud al-sahw, this. And we ask Allah the Exalted to grant success to us and to you.
There remain other points regarding the prayer that we cannot speak about now, because the time has passed; it is seven o'clock and seven minutes, meaning it is not possible. And the book al-Umdah, yes.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : This is the author of the book al-Umdah. He also says, the reading of the book al-Umdah, what do we read in it? Yes.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Yes, questions?
The student: Many.

The Shaykh : Good, if Allah wills.

The questioner : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, and may blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon whoever follows his guidance. As for what follows, we ask Allah Mighty and Majestic to reward our Shaykh with the best reward and to benefit us with what we have heard and learned. Then the questioner says: Your Eminence, the Shaykh.

The Shaykh : What?
