What is the ruling on entering the state of ihram from Jeddah for one who intends to perform 'Umrah, having come from a place other than Jeddah and stayed there for two days?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Your Eminence, the Shaykh.

The Shaykh : After that.

The questioner : May Allah reward you. If you intend to perform 'Umrah, you went to Jeddah by plane, then stayed in Jeddah for a day, and after that you entered the state of ihram.

The Shaykh : Where did you enter the state of ihram from?

The questioner : From Jeddah.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : So, is a sacrificial animal required of me, or...?

The Shaykh : It is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that when the miqats were mentioned, he said:
They are for them, and for whoever comes to them from among those who are not of their household, from among those who intend Hajj or 'Umrah. هن لهن ولمن أتى عليهن من غير أهلهن ممن يريد الحج والعمرة
Sunan al-Bayhaqi 4:296

If you pass it and enter the state of ihram from a place before it, the scholars say: this is leaving an obligatory act, and for leaving an obligatory act, a sacrificial animal is required, which is slaughtered in Makkah and distributed to the poor there. Yes.
