The Shaykh : And among the evidence is His saying:
"And recall the story of the ruling that took place at the Trench *** For Quraizah, from Sa'd the pious
The Messenger testified that the ruling of our God *** Is from above seven [heavens], and He guided him with the Wazan meter"
This hadith refers to the ruling of Sa'd ibn Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding Banu Quraizah, because Banu Quraizah were allies of the Aws. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) besieged them for about twenty-five nights, they submitted to the ruling of Sa'd ibn Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) loved him and held him in high esteem, for he was the chief of the Aws. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sahih al-Bukhari 6640 So he testified that he has sheets in Paradise (may Allah be pleased with him) . Then he did to them what Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him and grant him satisfaction) had ruled, and seven hundred men were killed from them on that day. Then Mu'adh returned to his tent in the mosque—Sa'd ibn Mu'adh to his tent in the mosque—and blood gushed from his wound, and he died (may Allah be pleased with him). When the task for which his eye had been pleased was completed, he moved to the mercy of Allah (may Allah be pleased with him). The point is that this indicates that Allah is above, is it not? By His saying: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3213Sahih (Darussalam).
