Glory be to the Possessor of Majesty, Sovereignty, and the *** of Honor and Dignity, and Glory (A discussion on the name of Allah, al-Jabbar, its meanings, and the attributes of Majesty and Sovereignty)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then the author said:
"Glory be to the Possessor of Majesty, Sovereignty, and the *** of Honor and Dignity, and Glory"
Subhan: means purifying Allah (Mighty and Majestic) from all imperfections.
Dhi al-Jabrut: al-Jabr (compulsion/force). It has passed us in this book that al-Jabbar is among the names of Allah. How many meanings does it have? Three meanings: strength, mending the broken, and elevation, as He said:
"And it has a third meaning, which is elevation *** So no human can draw near to Him
From their saying: 'Jabarah for the palm tree that *** surpassed with every finger' "
or as he said.
As for his saying: al-Mulkut, it is from al-Mulk (sovereignty), and the taa in it is for intensification. Allah the Exalted said:
Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things قل من بيده ملكوت كل شيء
[Al-Mu'minun 23:88]
.
As for his saying: and al-Ijlal, it is that Allah the Exalted is honored by everyone in the heavens and the earth, and magnified by everyone in the heavens and the earth, either by a decree-based magnification or a legislative magnification.
As for al-Ikram, the intended meaning is the honoring of the obedient among His servants. Allah the Exalted said:
And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. ويبقى وجه ربك ذو الجلال والإكرام
[Ar-Rahman 55:27]
.
As for al-Subhan, it is purification, meaning: and Glory be to the Possessor of Purification.
